A dramatic decrease in costs associated with the use of teacher consultants is expected for the current year. Costs in past years have been as high as $472,260 in 2010. With the additional days, consultant costs are projected at $75,229 for the current school year.
  • The Board also conducted interviews with two attorneys from separate firms. The Board is considering an attorney that is closer to the area to be present at all LMSD Board meetings. Board members asked detailed questions about experience, availability and hourly rates. Any decision or further discussion will take place at future board meetings.
The Board's next meeting is scheduled for November 14 at 5:30 pm.
