Robert St. John/Wyatt Waters Book Signing at Winston County Library

Robert St. John is a incredibly profound writer (as seen through his regular columns) and has developed
such a strong following and fan base over the years. An Italian Palate is Robert's 8th cookbook and what makes it more than just a cookbook is that it is also a compilation of short stories on the 10-week sojourn of his and his family's travels through Italy.
The entire book radiates with Robert's unexpected, unabashed love affair with the country and it is written in his unmistakable writing style that is best described as ‘engaging-confidential-ramble' that so many adore.

Another attractive element of this book is that it features the luminous watercolors of Wyatt Waters as illustration, as he traveled with the St. Johns and provides a magical sense of both the surroundings and tastes experienced on their adventure. Many Mississippians are familiar with Wyatt and fun to note is that Robert and Waters’ first collaboration, A Southern Palate, sold out completely in three weeks [that’s 10,000 copies!] and, according to Robert St. John, this is their finest work yet.

The Friends of the Library will sponsor this event along with the Winston County Library Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 8th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., where refreshments will be served.
