Celebration of Champions at Louisville High Scheduled for Feb.1

Details of the Celebration of Champions are taking shape as Louisville High School prepares an event to recognize the school’s eight state football titles. The public is invited to the first ever Celebration of Champions to be held at the Louisville High School Auditorium on February 1, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. Robby Donoho from WCBI sports will serve as Master Of Ceremonies. All former head coaches who directed LHS to State Championships are expected to be in attendance. Mike Justice, Bobby Hall, Lynn Moore, Tony Stanford, Brad Peterson and Coach M.C. Miller will all talk briefly about their 8 State championship teams. A brief slide show and highlight film will be shown and Mayor Will Hill will unveil a banner that will be displayed on the bypass with all the state championships displayed.

Senator Giles Ward will read a proclamation about the 2013 perfect 16-0 season. Former students and players are expected to attend.

There will be no charge to enter but the LHS Athletic Booster Club will have a donation box for anyone who wishes to contribute to help pay for this year’s state championship rings!
