10:30 Weather Update

At 10:30 - In Louisville area, streets are wet but not icy yet as temps hover around 34-35 degrees. Precip is mostly in the form of light rain or snow but not significant at this time. Temperature projections have increased slightly from late afternoon but still in the 29-31 degree range overnight which makes icing probable.

Our last update on Winston County closings has been posted to the website and now it's just time to wait and see how much precipitation we receive and how early we reach the freezing point in our area.

Again, folks are encouraged to stay home and not travel unless absolutely necessary. Freezing rain is expected overnight and road conditions could be extremely hazardous by morning.
