Hampton Receives Harriet Tubman Award

Charles Hampton received The Harriet Tubman Award from the Magnolia Bar Association, Inc. and
Magnolia Bar Foundation, Inc. on January 25, 2014. The Harriet Tubman Award is presented to individuals and/or organizations that have distinguished themselves within the African American Community as trailblazers and stalwarts in the fields of business, civil rights, religion and/or politics. These individuals and/or organizations have demonstrated unusual courage and selfless dedication in creating new opportunities for people while putting aside personal goals. Charles is president of Winston County NAACP and 1st Vice-president of the Mississippi State Conference NAACP.
