PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST LOUISIANA AND CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI...
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN EXPANDED FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
MISSISSIPPI...

AN APPROACHING WEATHER SYSTEM WILL BRING A RISK OF MULTIPLE WINTER
PRECIPITATION TYPES FOR TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY. PRECIPITATION IN THE
FORM OF MAINLY FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE
AREA. ICE ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO REACH TO ONE QUARTER TO ONE
HALF AN INCH IN THE WINTER STORM WARNING AREA...WITH SOME LIGHT SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS AS WELL FOR FAR NORTHERN AREAS. THIS WILL LEAD TO ICING
OF BRIDGES...OVERPASSES...ROADWAYS...VEGETATION AND ELEVATED
SURFACES. THERE MAY ALSO BE POWER OUTAGES DUE TO THE ACCUMULATION OF
ICE ON POWER LINES AND FALLEN BRANCHES ON POWER LINES. THE MOST
SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS WILL LIKELY OCCUR FROM EARLY MORNING HOURS
THROUGH AROUND NOON ON TUESDAY.

THESE DANGEROUS CONDITIONS APPEAR ESPECIALLY LIKELY FOR LOCATIONS
ALONG A LINE FROM RAYVILLE LOUISIANA TO COLUMBUS MISSISSIPPI WHERE
