Looking for a Job or an Employee? MississippiWorks Can Help

Looking for a job? The State of Mississippi might just make that job search a little easier as the MississippiWorks website was recently launched. The site at http://mississippiworks.org not only provides free job listings for employers but also allows job seekers to post their profiles and skills online for employers to see.

Search options allow employers and potential employees to search geographically, by skills and by academic training. The site also has a special section for military personnel and listings of upcoming job fairs across the state.

Mississippi Works is a part of an initiative of Governor Phil Bryant focused on three main areas of Economic Development (from website):
  • Help craft a long-range strategy to expand economic opportunities in Mississippi with a focus on workforce development
  • Help bring new investments to all regions of our state while continuing to grow existing businesses and expand them into new markets
  • Provide a forum for Mississippi Business Leaders to learn about all the great work going on throughout our state, giving them tools they can use in spreading Mississippi’s success stories around our nation and world

The site is free to use for employers and job seekers. Visit the webpage at http://mississippiworks.org
