Louisville Wildcats Expecting 9 to Sign Scholarships

According to LHSFootball_1 Twitter up to nine Louisville High School Wildcats will sign scholarships tomorrow on National Signing Day. Indications are that quarterback Wyatt Roberts and wide receiver Desmond Goss are headed to the NJCAA powerhouse East Mississippi Community College which won the 2013 National Title.

Offensive lineman Anderson Gunn, defensive end Anthony Gunn, cornerback Nick Shields and defensive tackle Malik Slaughter are expected to head to Northwest Community College (NWCC).

Copiah-Lincoln (Co-Lin) is expected to be the future home of cornerback Darius Dora and free safety Lakendrick Vaughn.

Linebacker Jeremy Sangster is headed to the University of Southern Miss.

There was a great deal of speculation concerning Sangster and Roberts, who were two very highly touted players in the state. Roberts originally committed to Jacksonville State and there were discussions with MSU concerning walk-on status. According to news reports, coaching changes at Jacksonville led to Roberts reconsidering his offer. EMCC has been a hotbed in recent years for quarterback talent to continue at Division 1 schools.

Sangster's recruitment was a long process as Division 1 schools liked his abilities but had concerns about his height at 6'1". Southern Miss offered within the last few days.

All these Seniors were part of the 2013 State Title Division 3A team.
