Louisville's Ward Gets a Save for West Alabama

Congratulations  go out to Brock Ward of Louisville as he gets his first save of the new season with the West Alabama Tigers. The Tigers defeated Columbus State in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday by a score of 2-1.

The righthander Ward came into the game in the sixth inning with the bases loaded and managed a two out ground ball to end the inning.

Ward began his baseball career at Louisville and was a two time first team Division 2-3A selection, a golden glove award winner and the team captain and MVP in 2010. Ward spent two seasons at ECCC and was at MSU from 2012 to the Fall of 2013.  His parents are Tabby and Mark Dempsey and Kendall and Aida Ward.
