Winston Medical Center CEO Leaving for Neshoba General

Lee McCall came to Winston Medical Center as Chief Executive Officer almost three years ago. After
overseeing several projects and guiding the hospital through some major changes in health care laws, McCall will be leaving WMC to take a similar position at Neshoba General Hospital in Philadelphia.

“It’s a good opportunity for me and my family,” said McCall, “and it permits me to grow in my profession.” McCall is a member of the Winston County Chamber of Commerce, recently serving as Board President. He is also a member of the Rotary Club. He and his wife, Ashley have two sons, ages eight and five.

McCall will continue to serve as CEO at Winston Medical until April 21, 2014. No action has yet been taken to find a replacement but the WMC Board is expected to post the position. WMC is a 41 bed hospital with a 120 resident nursing home.

Neshoba General Board of Trustees announced McCall’s hiring earlier this week. Online sources indicate that Neshoba General (NG) is a 208 bed hospital with a 160 resident nursing home. NG is affiliated with Anderson Regional Medical Center.
