WinstonWeb Ready to Take Business to New Level

Winston Web News recently moved to new offices at 116 South Columbus Ave. in Louisville.  (That’s the building with the blue awning next to Louisville Utilities) The move along with our associated company, McCully and Associates, signals the next stage in the growth and development of Winston Web News.

WWN began as a concept and a desire to fill a need in rural areas such as Winston County. With the explosion of the Internet and smart phone coverage, an online source of information that is more immediate, to the point and accessible was our goal. We have spent a considerable period of time developing our web presence: changing designs, testing software components, building relationships and simply learning how to do something that no one else has done.

We hope that we have become a reliable, consistent, fair and accurate source of information for the residents of Winston County, the surrounding area and those who live in other places with Winston County ties.

To this point we have accepted only limited advertising as we develop our product. We cannot thank our early advertisers enough for all that they have done in support of WWN. And like any business, we must profit to survive and we are now accepting additional advertising in our area. Businesses and organizations will find that advertising costs on WWN are a real bargain – not only in price but in exposure. Not only are ads seen by thousands in Winston County every week, they are visible 24 hours a day- seven days a week. And in most cases our ads provide links to our advertisers’ websites, Facebook pages and Twitter accounts allowing for more interaction with their customers and clients.

Direct advertising on WWN is only part of what we offer. Managing an online presence for a business can be an intimidating process. We can show you how to make your website, your Facebook page and/or your Twitter account work together as an effective marketing tool without increasing your workload.

Keep following us closely over the next few weeks as we will be presenting some new ideas in small town marketing that can put your ad or promotion directly in the hands of the consumer.

Come by and see us on South Columbus and just visit awhile. We’ll discuss the internet, local news and answer some of your questions about computers, software, smart phones and social media. As always, we welcome your input, feedback and comments as we strive to serve our community. With continually updated content and information, be sure to follow us everyday at and find our links on Facebook and Twitter at Winston Web News.
