Friends of the Library Ask for Book Donations

The Friends of the Library will be holding a book sale at the Winston County Library on May 1st, 2nd and 3rd. A great way to support your Library and clean-up your home or office bookshelves is to donate your used materials to the Friends of The Winston County Library. Donated books should be in good condition. The Friends will re-sell your donations at their semi-annual Book Sales. Proceeds from the sales help sponsor Library projects and activities not covered by the Library's operating budget.

In addition to books, we accept donations of media and assorted printed material, including:

-Audio CDs, LPs

-DVDs, Blu-ray discs, and VHS tapes (in their cases)

-Computer software and console games

-Text books

-Books that are damp or moldy

-General encyclopedias (World Book, Britannica, etc.)

-Legal statutes and casebooks

-Loose CDs, DVDs, etc. without their cases

-Home-recorded (aka burned) CDs, DVDs, etc.

The Winston County Library is looking for yearbooks from all the city & county schools to add to their collection. The library is particularly interested in yearbooks from Noxapater, Nanih Waiya, Winston Academy, Grace Christian and Camille St. schools. For more information, contact the library at 662-773-3212.
