REPM Learns About CrimeStoppers

After a morning visit to the Central Offices of the Louisville Municipal School District, the Retired Educational Personnel of Mississippi met at 1:00 pm at Louisville City Hall on Thursday, March 6. The group's guest speaker was Tom Bush, President of Winston County Crimestoppers and Winston County Chief Deputy Sheriff Keith Alexander.

Bush briefed the group on the recent efforts to establish the Winston County Crimestoppers Program. Bush indicated that Crimestoppers was a vital tool of law enforcement that provided anonymity. Active only a few months, Crimestopper tips have resulted in roughly a dozen arrests.
