Winston Medical Center Partners with Ms Organ Recovery Agency in Statewide Celebration of National Donate Life Month

Winston Medical Center has joined the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency along with hospitals across the state to promote National Donate Life Month on April 1st. From the Northeast hills to the Gulf Coast, more than 30 hospitals, will host activities, recognition ceremonies and educational opportunities to increase organ and tissue donor awareness within their local communities. Throughout the month, emphasis will also be placed on the need for individuals of legal age, to indicate their desire to donate by signing up on the Mississippi Donor Registry at www.DonateLifeMS.org.

Winston Medical Center will host a balloon release and small reception at 2:00 pm on April 1, 2014 at the front of the hospital.
