SBA to Host Meeting with Local Businesses Affected by Tornado- May 29

Officials with the Small Business Administration (SBA) will host a
meeting on Thursday, May 29 for businesses that suffered damages and/or were affected by the tornado in Winston County.

The meeting will be held from 10:30 am til 11:30 am at the offices of Winston County Economic Development/Chamber of Commerce at 311 West Park Street in Louisville.

SBA disaster loans for up to $2,000,000 for physical damage and up to $2,000,000 for economic injury may be available. To date, $2,080,600 have been approved in Winston County.

· Structural Damages, which include loss of inventory and economic injury.
Retail Stores
· Grocery stores, which include loss of inventory and economic injury.
Home Base Businesses
· Truckers
· Land Services- landscaping
· Plumber-Self Employed
· Electrician- Self Employed
· Barber/Beauty Shop
· Arts and Craft
· Nursery Care
