911 Agreement Finally in Place

After months of delay and negotiating, Winston County and the City of Louisville have agreed to an interlocal agreement for 911 operation.

The existing agreement had expired in late 2013 and legal issues, cost sharing and haggling over terms delayed the approval of the new agreement.

Winston County Supervisors made some slight revisions in dates and payment schedules and the Louisville Board of Aldermen approved the revised contract in their meeting on Tuesday evening (June 3).
