Ganaan, who lost his life earlier this year in an automobile accident, was described “as a joy to be around. His smile could brighten the darkest room and he will forever be missed. May each of us remember what a compassionate, caring young man Chris was, one who would have made an amazing nurse. Tonight we accept these pins in honor of Chris.” For more information, contact Denita Thomas, dean of healthcare education, at 601-635-6294. (EC Photo)
