3rd Annual Panhandle Community Day - October 18

Panhandle Community, Choctaw County – As a way of building
community, the citizens of the Panhandle Community are gearing up for the third annual Panhandle Community Day. This is a wonderful opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping with the added benefit of enjoying and connecting with our shared roots. Held in the historic Panhandle Consolidated School building, the event features crafts of every type, food, plenty of yard sale items and fun! fun! fun!

Held annually in October, this event came about as an effort to foster community support, awareness, and fellowship. There are tales to be told and laughter to be shared. Those who wish to take a step into yesteryear will be able to tour the charming Old Harden Place which is a short distance away.
To reserve a booth and for directions to the old Panhandle school, contact Brenda Cagle (662-552-0881) or Ruby Reid (662-831-0061). Any and all vendors are welcome. A nominal fee of $5.00 is charged per booth. Booth proceeds go to the upkeep of the old Panhandle school. Please join us on Saturday, October 18, from 8:00 AM -2:00 PM.
