Veterans Harvest Festival Set for Nov 1

Mark November 1 on your calendars for a day of celebration, recognition and fun as Winston County celebrates the 2014 Veterans' Harvest Festival. The day will be filled with events highlighted by the Veterans Parade and program at 11:00 am as area veterans march down Main Street to South Columbus.

The day kicks off with a 5K Color Run starting at 7 am and a Veteran's Brunch sponsored by the Louisville Pilot Club at 9 am.

There will be arts and crafts vendors from 8 am til 3 pm on South Columbus Avenue and entertainment by the ECCC Collegians from 12:00 til 1:00 pm.

To cap off the day, there will be an auction benefiting WinstonStrong beginning at 1:00 pm. All proceeds go to the nonprofit relief fund for rebuilding efforts. Winston Strong T-shirts will be available for sale as well.
