The Louisville Junior Auxiliary "Angel Tree"

The Louisville Junior Auxiliary has once again raised the “Angel Tree” at the Winston County Library. There are 70 “Angels” who can be adopted for Christmas this year. If you wish to adopt an angel for Christmas, come to the library, select an angel, hang your paper angel (with your angel’s name on it) on the tree and proceed to purchase gifts based on suggestions in the child’s packet.

The deadline for turning in your bag of gifts is December 9th to the Winston Baptist Association. Many school, church and civic groups choose to adopt an angel each year and some families adopt angels instead of exchanging gifts with each other. The Junior Auxiliary stresses to those who adopt these precious angels that this will be the only Christmas they receive.
