 The Nanih Waiya Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is pleased to announce that they have joined with the Department of Defense as a Vietnam War Commemorative Partner. The Commemorative Program focuses on thanking and honoring Vietnam veterans and their families for the sacrifices they made during the Vietnam War.

The Nanih Waiya Chapter of the DAR is among many organizations joining a growing and wide ranging list of commemorative partners supporting the efforts of the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration.  This endeavor is committed to teaching the next generation the importance of our freedom and the sacrifices made to ensure it.  As a commemortive partner, the local DAR Chapter is committed to conduct events and activities that will recognize our Vietnam veterans for their service,valor,and sacrifice.
May 28, 2012 through November 11, 2025 is designated as the Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. This will be a 13-year program to honor and give thanks to a generation of proud Americans who saw our country through one of the most challenging missions we have ever faced.  In observance of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, please join the efforts of the Nanih Waiya Chapter of the DAR and reflect with solemn reverence upon the valor of a generation that served with honor.
