Registration Set Jan. 5 for ECCC’s GED Classes

Registration for GED classes offered by East Central Community College in Decatur will be held Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, announced Ryan Clarke, director of Adult Basic Education /GED Testing.

Clarke said EC continues to offer GED classes free of charge at the following locations in the College’s five-county district:

LEAKE
GED classes in Leake County are offered from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Leake County Career-Technical Center in Carthage. Enrollment begins January 5, 2015.

NESHOBA
GED classes in Neshoba County are offered from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and Thursday, at the Philadelphia/Neshoba County Career-Technical Center. Enrollment for day classes will be held Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015. Enrollment for night classes is scheduled Monday, Jan. 5, 2015.

NEWTON
GED classes in Newton County are offered in from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday through Wednesday, and from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, in Room 10 of Ethridge Hall, on ECCC’s South Campus. Enrollment will be held January 5, 2015.

SCOTT
GED classes in Scott County are offered from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Forest/Scott County Career and Technology Center. Enrollment is scheduled Jan. 6, 2015.

English as a Second Language classes are also offered in Scott County. Classes are held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at the Forest High School Library. Enrollment is open during every class period.

WINSTON
GED classes in Winston County are offered from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Louisville Career Advancement Center. Enrollment will be held January 5, 2015.
