Prepare For Severe Weather on Saturday

Our area and most of the State of Mississippi is under A FLASH FLOOD until 6:00 pm on Saturday. The area forecast includes an elevated threat level for severe thunderstorms that may produce damaging winds, heavy rain and possible tornado activity throughout the day on Saturday: From NWS:


THE THREAT LEVEL FOR SEVERE WEATHER INCLUDING DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND TORNADOES HAS BEEN RAISED TO ELEVATED  FOR THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA SATURDAY. THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE EAST INTO THE ARKLAMISS DELTA REGION DURING THE MORNING HOURS...THEN CONTINUE EAST ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN MISSISSIPPI DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
