Rep. Harper Votes for Full Repeal of Obamacare

WASHINGTON DC – U.S. Rep. Gregg Harper (R-Miss.) voted in favor of a full repeal of Obamacare this afternoon. Harper co-sponsored H.R. 596, a Repeal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act which was introduced by Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-Ala.)

"Obamacare’s heavy-hand forces individuals to buy health insurance of a certain kind or face stiff financial penalties.” Harper said. “It has allowed for further intrusion of government into our lives and our wallets. Full repeal of Obamacare would lessen this government involvement into the lives of Americans by letting individuals, families, and their doctors, make the health care decisions that are right for them. I applaud my colleague from Alabama for his leadership on this important issue.”
