Master Gardener Felder Rushing at Winston County Library - April 7


Well known gardening expert Felder Rushing will be at the Winston County Library on Tuesday, April 7 from 11:30-1:30. The event is part of a celebration of National Library Week.

Felder Rushing is a 10th generation Southern gardener whose quirky cottage garden in Jackson has been featured in numerous publications, including the New York Times and a cover of Southern Living magazine.
The longtime columnist for the Clarion Ledger hosts the very popular Gestalt Gardener program on Mississippi Public Broadcasting and has written 18 gardening books and has had countless features and photos in many magazines, including Garden Design, Horticulture, Organic Gardening, Fine Gardening, Better Homes and Gardens, and the National Geographic.

Named by Southern Living as one of "25 people most likely to change the South," Felder is a Fellow with and has served as national director of the Garden Writers Association, a longtime board member of the American Horticulture Society. He lectures constantly coast to coast and overseas.
