Louisville Lion - Goodin Receives Melvin Jones Fellowship Award

Goodin accepts plaque from Lions District Gov.
Another member of the Louisville Lions Club was honored this week as Lois Goodin received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. Lions' District Governor Howard Jenkins presented the award to a surprised Goodin at the Lions' Tuesday meeting.

The Melvin Jones Award is named after the founder of Lions International and is an honor bestowed upon those who embody humanitarian ideas consistent with the nature and purpose of Lionism. The recipient of this award becomes a model because of the exemplary service to his club and the community for which it serves.

Goodin has been a tireless fundraiser and an active and loyal member of the Louisville Lions since 2007.
