Kids from infants to 12 years of age decorated their wagons, bikes, tricycles, strollers and themselves in the colors of "Old Glory" as the local area begins the holiday celebration. The young folk had almost as much fun as the parents and grandparents who watched, waved and took photos and video.
Afterwards, the Louisville Lions Club served hot dogs and soft
drinks to the kids. The "fixins" were provided by the Chamber of Commerce/Main St Association/ Winston County Partnership.
Many of the participants continued the celebration later in the evening at the sponsored fireworks display at Lake Tiak O'Khata.
