Run – Off Elections on August 25

With several tight races  and a crowd of candidates in Winston County, it’s not surprising that some offices would require a run-off primary. Seven local races will be on the August 25 primary run-off ballot.
Circuit Clerk Kim Ming noted that statewide certification of the vote had been delayed due to some delays in several counties. Due to affidavit ballots, certification of election results can take up to five days after an election. Winston Web will provide a sample ballot prior to election day.
