Sample Ballots For August 25 Run-Off

The run-off primary election is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday,
August 25. Those offices where a run-off was required after the first primary on August 4 will be on the ballot.

County wide - this includes the office of Tax Assessor/Collector, Sheriff and Coroner. These races will be included on all democratic ballots.

For voters in District 3,4 and 5, the ballot will also include County Supervisor races.

Included on some ballots will be the race for Constable West Post and State House Representative in District 42.

All of the above races will be on the Democratic ballot only. You can vote in the runoff on the Democratic primary if:
  • You voted in the Democratic primary on August 4
  • You did not vote at all on August 4
If you voted in the Republican primary on August 4, you cannot switch and vote in the Democratic runoff.

There is only one runoff on the Republican side and that is Senate District 18 which only covers a portion of Winston County. If you voted Republican in the August 4 primary and you are not in Senate District 18, there will be no Republican ballot.
