Kenley McMullan Selected for 2016 Lindy Callahan Scholar-Athletes Scholarship

Sixteen seniors from across the state were honored Monday as Lindy Callahan Scholar-Athletes for2016 at the Jackson Hilton hotel. The honorees — one boy and one girl from high schools in each of the MHSAA’s eight geographical districts — were chosen for their academic accomplishments as well as their participation in high school athletics and extracurricular activities. The winners were joined at the 21st annual banquet luncheon by family members, school administrators, coaches and MHSAA partners.

Each winner receives a $1,500 college scholarship through the support of MHSAA partners like BankPlus, Mississippi Sports Medicine, C Spire and Polk’s Meat Products.

Nanih Waiya Attendance Center's Kenley McMullan was selected at the 2016 Lindy Callahan Scholar Athlete for District 4.
