ECCC’s Channing Wall Wins MACJC Baseball Pitcher Of The Week Honors

East Central Community College sophomore right-handed pitcher Channing Wall is the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges Player of the Week in baseball for the week of May 9-15.


The Louisville High School product picked up two wins in two appearances in the MACJC State Baseball Tournament last weekend. During seven innings on the mound Wall allowed one hit, two runs, walked two, and struck out six batters.Wall has struck out 60 batters for the 2016 the season.

The No. 10 ranked Diamond Warriors were undefeated last week against Meridian Community College and Jones County Community College to win the MACJC State Baseball title.

The ECCC MACJC State Baseball Champions are now 36-15 on the season.
