Busy- Busy Thursday in Winston County!!

There are a lot of events occurring on Thursday, October 6 in and around Louisville. Plan to come to the area and check it all out:

* The Winston Medical Center will be hosting a health fair at their facility at 923 S. Church. The event begins at 9:00 am and includes health screenings and flu shots at a discounted rate. To find out more -click here

**As part of the Health Fair, the Excel By 5 program will sponsor a special Childrens' Health and Safety Fair that includes screenings specific to children's health, immunizations, etc. For more info - click here

*Book Sale at Winston County Library begins at 8:30 on Thursday and continues through Friday. Large supply of hardbacks, paperbacks, audio, etc. Huge supply of children's books. Hours are 8:30 am til 6:30 pm - Thursday and Friday.

*There will be a free seminar on Community Trees and Storm Preparedness on Thursday as well. This informational program will begin at 10:00 am at the Extension Office on Vance Street. Hosted by the City of Louisville and the Ms. Urban Forest Council, participants will learn about tree placement, pruning, storm prep, etc. For more info - click here

*There will be a REPM Meeting at 1:00 pm at Louisville City Hall on Thursday as well. Guest speaker is Michele Maxey.

*Ladies Night Out!!!...sponsored by the Main Street Association, ladies can enjoy a tappas menu as they shop in Main Street stores from 5:00 pm til 8:00 pm. Lots of food, deals and door prizes - for more info - click here
