Librarian Booth at LHS and Halloween Party

Winston County Librarian Beth Edwards recently hosted a “Librarian” booth at Louisville High School’s SLICE Career Day. She spoke to over 150 9-12 grade students and answered their questions about the typical day of a librarian, educational requirements, skill requirements and other aspects of the job. “I was so impressed with all of the students”, said Mrs. Edwards. “They are so motivated and plan to attend college – most of them already know what they want to major in and what colleges they want to attend! It is so encouraging to me.”

Winston County Library children’s librarian Andrea Howard hosted a Halloween Party for the children of Hudson’s Daycare. They read books, sang songs, did crafts and enjoyed treats.
