Nanih Waiya DAR Hosts Vietnam Veterans 2016
The Nanih Waiya Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution hosted a luncheon at Market Cafe on Thursday, November 19, to honor and give thanks to a generation of proud Americans who saw our country through one of the most challenging missions we have ever faced.
Susan Clark began the program with a welcome to all the veterans, Mary Snow read the DAR Vietnam Era Veterans Proclamation and Joan Agent presented the ceremony for the The Missing Man Table which was displayed in honor of those from Winston County who served and died during the Vietnam War. Veterans who attended the event received a knife engraved with Vietnam Veteran and a Vietnam War Veteran's pin.
