Marshall Ramsey at Winston County Library

Editorial Cartoonist and writer Marshall Ramsey was at the Winston County Library on Tuesday (2-
28-17) promoting his works including "Chainsaws and Casseroles", "Banjo's Dreams" and "Drawing the Line."

Ramsey regaled the crowd with tales of his career and his start as a cartoonist in Marietta, Georgia at the age of eight. Ramsey came to Mississippi as an editorial cartoonist with the Clarion Ledger in 1996. He spoke of his contentious but friendly relationship with many politicians over the years as well as his fight against cancer and the career changes resulting from the decline of the newspaper industry.
