The Louisville Mayor's Youth Council attendees of the Mississippi Municipal League's Statewide Youth Leadership Summit at Delta State University on March 3-4, 2017, were Allayna Lovorn, Asia Eichelberger, Bria Hunt, Eric Sudduth, Jamal Kelly, Keyasha Edwards, Laquinton Kelly, Maya Clay, Alicia Hopkins, and Tia Hunt. The MYC was accompanied by Mayor Hill and his family. This Summit creates a wonderful learning and networking experience for young people across the State of Mississippi. The emphasis is to build "Tomorrow's Leaders Today". The Louisville Mayor's Youth Council is in it's 6th year and is currently led by MYC Mayor Allayna Lovorn. The weekend consisted of a campus tour of Delta State University, experienced the beautiful and stunning Grammy Museum of Mississippi, attended leadership
sessions, and lots of fun while networking with students across Mississippi.

Mayor Hill stated, "I could not be more proud of these young people and how they represented Louisville, Mississippi. It was a pleasure for my family to spend time with these students on this trip. Working with our youth is such a joy and I am excited to see the continued successes of each student."
