Louisville Police Make Drug Arrests

The Louisville Police Department has been conducting ongoing investigations on drug activity within
the city of Louisville over the past several months. On Thursday, August 31st, 2017, based on information provided by the public and concerned citizens, the LPD with the assistance of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics executed a search warrant at 104 Hunt Street in the City of Louisville.

As a result of the search warrant, Tray Beamon was charged with aggravated trafficking of methamphetamine, trafficking marijuana, possession of cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Beamon is also charged with possession of stolen property and child endangerment.

A subsequent traffic stop of a vehicle in the area led to the arrest of Shawn Hudson. Hudson is charged with possession of more than an ounce of marijuana with intent to distribute. The individuals charged are currently held at the Winston Choctaw County Regional Correctional Facility.
