Suspects in Church Vandalism in Custody!

The suspects in a church vandalism reported this morning on WinstonWebNews (see article) are now
in custody and have confessed to the crime according Sheriff Jason Pugh. Pugh contacted our offices at around 4:00 pm today.

He indicated that three adults and one juvenile were involved but did not release their identity until the investigation is complete. When more information becomes available we will update.

Deputies were called to Sardis Church on Sardis Road, east of the Ellison Ridge Community and south of Hwy 14E on Thursday morning after a caretaker discovered that the building had been vandalized sometime between Tuesday and the early hours of Thursday morning.
