Schedule Changes in Store for Tomorrow's Music Festival

The Legion Park Music Festival just got a little cozier and comfortable!! The recent rain and the cooler weather has forced some changes to the venues and schedule for the festival but that brings some good news as well. For safety and comfort reasons, most events have been moved inside to the historic lodge inside the park. Festival goers will be greeted by a cheery fire and the full array of performers throughout the day.

There will be no parking fee and parking will be in proximity to the lodge. Handicap parking is available and limited shuttle service will be available if needed. The food vendor will be located near the lodge as well. The evening's fireworks display will take place around 5:15 pm and observation will be from the wrap around porches of the lodge.

The children's program kicks ff at 11:00 am with Native American Storyteller Allen Winters and a bevy of others. The kids will hear some great tales, receive their own flute and instructions as they participate. The event is topped off by a magic show for all ages by Greg Winter. This event will be held behind the lodge in the pavilion near the lake.

The following is a revised schedule of events.  If possible, enjoy the Veteran's Parade in downtown Louisville at 10:00 am and then head out to the park for a day of music, fun and fellowship.
