Rev. Lorene Guyse Honored 2019

On Sunday, March 10, 2019, Rev. Lorene Guyse was honored at the Holy Ghost Temple , 175 Hill Street, Louisville, MS during Holy Ghost Temple’s19 Anniversary Celebration. She was encouraged to continue her journey as she does great Christian work in Winston County. She has taught bible classes at the Winston-Choctaw County Regional Correctional Facility; fed over 700 people monthly in the Food Pantry of Love Peace and Hope Center, a nonprofit, which is now closed except for food for seniors; provided clothing for the homeless and others; visited the sick in their homes and at Nursing Homes; visited seniors at Day Care Centers for seniors; kept Holy Ghost Temple opened after the passing of her husband in 2012. The celebration ended with a bouquet of flowers given to her and a quest member saying, “You give so much love. We give love back to you today.” It was acknowledged that this being Women History Month, that she will go down in history in Winston County as a woman who made a difference in the history of this county. Holy Ghost Temple has Sunday School at (:00 a.m., Worship Service 10:00 a.m.
