Retirement Celebration for Patricia W. Dempsey

The Louisville Police Department and E911 celebrated the retirement of Patricia W. Dempsey along with family and friends on Wednesday, March 27.

 Patricia was hired as a full-time dispatcher on February 01, 1994. Throughout her years of service, she completed training in telecommunications which included APCO telecommunicator, Basic Telecommunicator, Training and Stress, Identification & Management Specialized Workshop, NECI Suicide Call Handling Course, MSU Certification of Training for Basic Report Writing, United States Department of Homeland Security Office of Grants and Training for National WMD Standardized Awareness Program, TDD Tutorial, Crime in Progress Class & Call Handling, ICS 100, 200,700 & 800, MS 911 Training Seminars, 911 Legal Issues, Emergency Medical Dispatch, Office Down Course, Legal Liability, Stress Management, Sexual Harassment Training and Domestic Violence.

Patricia retired on February 01, 2019, after 25 years of service as a  E911 Dispatcher of the City of Louisville/Police Department. The Mayor and Board of Alderman of City of Louisville adopted a resolution honoring and thanking Patricia W. Dempsey for her service to the City of Louisville.
