The new facility features a state of the art playground area, two splash pads, 4 new ball fields, walking track, water fountains, restrooms, concessions, and in the near future the large building will be renovated for multi-purpose activity space. Work has been ongoing throughout the existing park as well as the new area.
PLEASE NOTE: The new park areas have NOT officially opened and we anticipate in the coming weeks to announce the official opening and dedication. Many community members & visitors alike have already enjoyed the park and that is wonderful. We respectfully ask for your continued patience as we finalize the project.

Disruptive, destructive, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and the City of Louisville reserves the right to close the park or remove problems at anytime. We ask for everyone to take ownership of our new facilities by helping the City of Louisville take care of the park. Rules will be posted yet none more important that the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Let's work together to take care of the park, pick up the trash, be courteous one to another, see something-say something, be cautious, and last but not least HAVE FUN!
