Whitehall Bazaar Set for Oct. 26

The annual Whitehall Church Bazaar will be held on October 26th. A bountiful breakfast buffet will be served beginning at 7:30. Plates are $8 each for adults and $4 for children ages 4 to 10. Children 3 and under eat free. Veterans will be honored with a half-priced meal. Coffee, milk, and juice are served with the meal. Canned soft drinks and bottled water are available for $1.

After the prayer at 8:00 AM the ribbons for each room will drop and shopping will begin. Dining room sets, end tables, dressers, chests, cakes, pies, candy, dip mixes, crosses, birdhouses, canvases, pre-wrapped gifts perfect for teachers, quilts, windows, pottery, nativity sets and many more surprises will be available. This year the bake room will also feature quarts and gallons of soups and stews. Holiday meals will be stress-free with the delicious ready-to-bake casseroles. The white elephant room will once again be a name-your-own-price area and is always popular with bargain hunters. Silent auctions items will be displayed for bidding as well.

For the first time in Whitehall Bazaar history one item will be auctioned online prior to the event. Crafted by church member David Luke, a beautiful swing comes complete with a twin-size mattress, pillows, spread, and ropes. Bids may be placed on the original Facebook post found on the page: Whitehall Church Bazaar. This is a live auction which will end at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 25th. Similar to other auctions if activity happens within the last five minutes of closing, the auction will be extended for another three minutes. This is a reserve price auction.

Proceeds from the yearly event will be split evenly between the local missions fund and the church building fund. Whitehall Church is located at 10595 Highway 14 West near Louisville. Everyone is invited to attend worship services each Sunday at 11:00. Sunday School classes are held at 10:00. Bro. Mike Dowd serves as the pastor.
